Delete & reorder pages

Throw out the pages you don't need and put the rest in the order you want. Pages are copied across untouched, so nothing loses quality. Your file never leaves this device.

How to delete and reorder pages in a PDF

  1. Drop the PDF onto the box above, or press “Choose a PDF file”.
  2. Move a page with the ← and → buttons on its preview, and remove one with ✕. Removed pages wait in a tray, and clicking one puts it back.
  3. Press “Save & download” to get the new PDF. “Undo all changes” takes you back to the original order.

What Delete & reorder pages does

Putting a document in the right shape: moving pages into the order they should be in, turning the ones that came out sideways, and dropping the ones that should not be there, then saving it all in one pass.

What it does

  • Reorders, rotates and deletes pages in a single edit
  • Rotates by re-flagging the page rather than redrawing it, so quality is untouched
  • Shows you the result before you commit to it

What it does not do

  • Edit what is on a page; this moves whole pages around
  • Re-encode anything, so nothing degrades however much you shuffle

Need to send this to someone?

Our sister site QRSansar hosts a document and gives you a short link and a QR code for it. That is handy for WhatsApp, a slide, a poster or a printed handout, and it avoids attachment size limits entirely. You can swap the file later and the link and QR code keep working.

Worth being clear about the difference: that is a hosting service, so your file is uploaded to it. Everything on PDFsansar stays on your device; sharing is the one job that cannot.

Delete & reorder pages: common questions

How do I delete a page from a PDF?

Open the file, find the page in the grid, and press the ✕ on it. It moves to a removed row underneath, so a mistake costs you one click to undo rather than a re-upload.

Can I reorder pages as well as delete them?

Yes, and it is the same operation. Use the arrows on each page to move it earlier or later. Whatever order you leave the grid in is the order the new file is built in.

Does rebuilding the document lose any quality?

No. Pages are copied into the new file exactly as they were, so text stays selectable and images keep their resolution. Rotation already applied to a page travels with it.

Does this change my original file?

No. You get a new PDF in your downloads folder and the original stays where it was, untouched. Nothing is written back over it.
