How to split a PDF
- Drop the PDF onto the box above, or press “Choose a PDF file”.
- Keep “By page range” and type the ranges you want, such as 1-3, 5, 8-10. Each range becomes its own PDF. Or choose “Every page separately”.
- If you like, click the page previews to add or skip pages, or tick the box to put every listed page into one PDF instead.
- Press “Split PDF”, then “Download all as ZIP”, or save each file on its own.
What Split PDF does
Cutting one PDF into several: a bound volume into chapters, a batch scan into one file per document, or just the pages somebody asked for out of a much longer report.
What it does
- Splits by page range, or gives you every page as its own file
- Takes ranges as you would write them, like 1-3, 7, 12-14
- Bundles multiple results into a single zip so you get one download
What it does not do
- Change the pages themselves, which are copied over at full quality
- Touch your original file
- Reorder anything; that is Organize PDF

Can I pull out just a few pages?
Yes. Give it individual pages and ranges, like 1-3, 7, 12-14, and you get only those. You can also click pages to select them if you would rather see what you are choosing.
Can I split a document into single pages?
Yes, that is one of the options. A 40-page file becomes 40 one-page PDFs.
How do the results arrive?
A single result downloads as one PDF. Several results are bundled into a zip, so you get one download instead of twenty.
Are the extracted pages the same quality as the original?
Yes. The pages are copied across untouched rather than re-rendered, so nothing is lost.
