How to stamp a PDF
- Press “Choose a PDF file”, or drop the PDF you need to stamp onto the box above.
- Pick a ready-made stamp such as APPROVED or PAID, or type your own in “What it says”, with a second line such as today's date.
- Choose the ink and the lean, then press the “Put it on page” button or tap on the page. Drag the stamp into place and pull a corner to resize it.
- Press “Stamp & download”.
What Stamp PDF does
The rubber stamp and ink pad, without the rubber stamp. APPROVED on a purchase order, PAID on an invoice, RECEIVED with today's date on something that came in this morning, each put on the page where you would have put it by hand.
What it does
- Ten ready-made stamps in the words offices actually use, or anything you type yourself
- Adds a second line for the date, a name or a file number, with today's date one press away
- Four inks and an adjustable lean, because a stamp that is dead straight reads as a label
- Writes the mark into the page as real text, so it prints everywhere and is still searchable
- Puts it in the same spot on every page in one press, or on the one page you are looking at
What it does not do
- Prove anything; a stamp records what somebody decided, exactly like the ink version, and is worth what the process behind it is worth
- Offer a notary seal or any other official mark; that is a forgery kit, not a PDF tool
- Take an image of a stamp you already have, which is what Sign PDF is for
- Leave the stamp movable afterwards; it becomes part of the page, so keep your original if you might change your mind
- Draw characters outside Latin-1, because the mark uses a font every reader already has rather than embedding one
- Remove whatever sits under the stamp; it is covered, not deleted, which is what Redact PDF is for

Our sister site QRSansar hosts a document and gives you a short link and a QR code for it. That is handy for WhatsApp, a slide, a poster or a printed handout, and it avoids attachment size limits entirely. You can swap the file later and the link and QR code keep working.
Worth being clear about the difference: that is a hosting service, so your file is uploaded to it. Everything on PDFsansar stays on your device; sharing is the one job that cannot.

Stamp PDF: common questions
Will the stamp show up when I print it, or only on screen?
It prints. There are two ways a PDF can carry a mark like this: as an annotation, which sits in a layer some readers hide and some printers drop, or as part of the page itself. This writes it into the page, so it is there in every reader, on paper, and in anything the file is converted to afterwards. The flip side is that it is not a sticky note you can drag around later.
Can I put the date on it?
Yes, and for RECEIVED or PAID you probably should. The second line takes anything you type, with a button that fills in today's date the way a received stamp usually carries it, as SEP 12 2026. It is equally happy holding a name, a file number or a department, which is what most real office stamps carry underneath the word.
Does a PAID stamp prove anything?
No, and it is worth being clear about that. This puts a mark on a document in the same way a rubber stamp and an ink pad do: it records what somebody in your office decided, and it is as good as the process behind it. It is not a receipt, not a signature, and not evidence of payment on its own. Anybody can stamp anything.
Can I stamp every page at once?
Yes. Place it where you want it, then press On every page and it goes in the same spot on all of them. Pages you have already stamped are left alone rather than given a second one. If you want the mark across the whole page instead of in one corner, that is a watermark, and Watermark PDF does it properly.
Can I use my company's own stamp image?
Not here. This composes the mark from words, which is what keeps it sharp at any size and searchable afterwards. If you have an image of a stamp or a seal already, Sign PDF is the tool: it takes a PNG or a photo and drops it on the page the same way, and a transparent PNG will sit on the page rather than in a white box.
Why won't it take my accented or non-Latin text?
Because the stamp is drawn with one of the fonts every PDF reader already has, which is what makes it cost under a kilobyte no matter how many pages you stamp. Those fonts cover Latin-1, so most Western European text is fine and Greek, Cyrillic, Arabic or CJK is not. Rather than dropping the characters silently, the tool names the ones it cannot draw.
